The Summer Bucket List idea is making the rounds among bloggers near and far! ?Personally, I think it?s an awesome idea and I happen to LOVE lists! ?My love for lists is only second to actually marking something OFF said list!
Without further ado, our family?s 2012 Summer Bucket List!
1.) Take a family vacation.
2.) Visit all four of our favorite zoos. (The New Zoo, Special Memories Zoo, Milwaukee County Zoo?and Henry Vilas Zoo.)
3.) Go camping for at least one weekend.
4.) Hit the nearby beach.
5.) Listen to some outdoor music.
6.) Venture out for every possible farmer?s market we can.
7.) Draw with chalk.
8.) Make homemade ice cream.
9.) S?mores!!
10.) Plant something outside.
11.) Attend at least one Fourth of July fireworks display.
12.) Go to (at least) one baseball game.
13.) Take a trip down Mulberry Lane Farm.
14.) Pick strawberries.
15.) Tie-dye!
16.) Fly kites.
17.) Buy a kiddie pool.
18.) Have a scary movie marathon.
19.) Go to the library.
20.) Get everyone haircuts (well, everyone except Cheeks!)
21.) Go to the Drive-In Movie theater at LEAST once!
22.) Paint rocks.
23.) Make each kid a chalkboard for their room (and one for OUR room!)
24.) Make homemade funnel cakes.
25.) Go bowling.
26.) Play board and card games.
27.) Have a home manicure/pedicure date with the girls!
28.) Take my wife on a kid-free date that I plan all by myself!
29.) Go on a picnic.
30.) Make every day, every moment and every memory count!
And when it?s all done?? ?Take the images from our summer and put them into books for each of the kids!
