HBT: Mets want to forget Monday's 7th inning

The seventh inning of last night?s Cubs-Mets game started with the Cubs holding a 2-0 lead and Jon Rauch on the mound for the Mets. Then the defense went south.

David Wright and Lucas Duda each committed three-base errors two plays apart, which led to two Cubs runs. Then, right after the Duda error, Ronny Cedendo committed another error to allow another run in.?Four plays, seven bases worth of errors, two runs. Then two more runs scored via more conventional means in the inning.

Just one of those nights everyone wants to forget.
