Manufacturing jobs rebound, while union numbers fade

U.S. manufacturers have added 500,000 workers in the past three years, but a smaller portion of those jobs are going to union workers, according to a report by the Washington Post.

The number of union factory employees decreased by four percent from 2010 to 2012. The shift, the Washington Post reports, illustrates one of the hallmarks of the Obama administration. New U.S. factory jobs are different than in past generations.
